A Marina woman was sentenced yesterday after a 3-hour, high speed chase she led officers on over the summer. 49-year old Kathleen Palmer was sentenced to five years probation and will also have to complete substance abuse, DUI and theft classes. The chase began on July 13th when Palmer stopped at a Marina 76-station to fill her car up with gas, when she left without paying. A high speed chase led 3 CHP cars along with a CHP Helicopter to Morro Bay in San Luis Obispo, where Palmer was eventually arrested.
