Updated: No Autopsy Results Released in Marina Dead Baby Case 04-30-20 02:44 DC

An autopsy has been completed on the body of an infant girl found Tuesday at the Monterey Regional Waste Management facility in Marina. No details of the examination have been released as police search for the baby’s identity and seek to establish a cause and time of death. 

Facility General Manager Tim Flanagan said the baby girl was discovered on a conveyor belt by a male employee who immediately hit the emergency shut off and called 9-1-1. The facility was shut down on Wednesday as the investigation continued but was set to reopen this morning.
