(10:40) Watsonville – The community is invited to share memories of the 18-month canning strike that began in 1985, after residents received a 40 percent pay cut and drastically reduced health benefits. Attendees will connect with people who are an important part of Watsonville history. The event will be this Saturday from noon to 4 p.m. at the Watsonville Public Library meeting room, 275 Main Street, Suite 100. The event will be in English and Spanish.
