(10:40) Santa Cruz – Today is International Women’s Day and strikes across the world are being held to show opposition to the policies of the Trump administration and to make a big push for women’s equality. A day without Woman began at 9:30 this morning at the Louden Nelson Community Center, with a brunch provided by Food Not Bombs. After brunch, participants will then meet at the Santa Cruz town Clock at 11:30 to march through downtown. To end the all day event, numerous workshops will take place from 3 p-m to 6 p-m at the Louden Nelson Community Center, at 703 Pacific Avenue.
