(06:55) Salinas – Authorities reported that six parolees were arrested during a sweep yesterday in Salinas. Salinas Police Department, along with the Monterey County Probation Department and Monterey County Parole, searched a total of 15 homes. Two people were arrested for violating parole. The other four were arrested for violations including possession of a firearm, gang association and possession of a controlled substance for sale. The parolees were booked into the Monterey County Jail.
