(07:06) LA SELVA BEACH – Shore access in La Selva Beach has been limited due to damage caused by El Niño storms. Officials say large waves and high tides destroyed the staircase connecting the Manresa Upland Campground to Sand Dollar Beach. It is unknown at this time when the staircase will be repaired. El Niño storms also created a sinkhole in a day use parking lot at New Brighton State Beach. The lot remains closed. (S.G.)
