(09:45) Big Sur – Checks were sent out Monday to help those impacted by the Pfeiffer Canyon Bridge Closure. As of yesterday, the Community Foundation for Monterey County had received $165,000 in contributions to its Big Sur Relief Fund and the Coast Property Owners Association had collected $82,000 in donations. The new bridge is expected to cost 20 million and will take 6 to 9 months to build.
