(06:40) Salinas – A pastor for Victory Outreach Church in Salinas, was stabbed and killed last night. 68-year-old Herbert Valero was stabbed in the neck by a fellow parishioner, 37 year-old Servando Silva, just before 8 p.m. The incident happened outside Valero’s home on the 1500 block of Verona Court. Silva fled but was later arrested at a family member’s home. Silva was taken to the Monterey County Jail and booked on Homicide charges. The Salinas Police Department reported that this is the 10th homicide of the year.
