(07:40) Santa Cruz – The Santa Cruz Sheriff’s Department is investigating several mail thefts from the Summit and Boulder Creek areas of Santa Cruz County. The Sheriff’s Office has followed up on leads and collected potential evidence, but would also like the communities’ assistance in keeping an eye out for suspicious vehicles in these rural areas. Please report any suspicious activity or tips to Sheriff’s Dispatch at 831-471-1121. The Sheriff’s Office recommends that outgoing mail be taken to a post office box and should not be left in personal mailboxes for pickup.
