(11:52) SALINAS- A Salinas man was arrested on felony DUI and other charges Friday. Shortly before 9:30 p.m., patrol units responded to a 9-1-1 call near Kern and Market Streets. The caller reported being menaced by apparent gang members after a traffic incident. As officers arrived a black Camaro, driven by 25 year old Ramon Nunez fled the area, and a pursuit ensued until crashed into a concrete pillar. Police then subdued Nunez with a taser. Nunez’s passengers, 19 year old Ivan Alcala, 18 year old Jesus Lopez and a 17 year old male also are facing multiple charges including gang enhancements.
