About 40 kittens and cats were recently rescued from a hoarding situation, and now the Santa Cruz County Animal Shelter is caring for almost a hundred felines. Many of those are available for adoption…..and the shelters are open between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.
Currently adoptions come with: initial worming and vaccinations, all age appropriate shots, a microchip, a pet license, a collar and ID tag, and a cat carrier.
