A preliminary hearing has been set for a 51-year-old Freedom woman, who is accused of being under the influence, when she crashed into a motorcycle-rider, causing a fatal accident. Maria Villegas de Munoz has pleaded not guilty to the charges, including gross vehicular manslaughter, and driving under the influence causing injury to more than one person. 49-year-old James Parker, of Aromas, died in the September wreck, and his 15-year-old son was injured. Munoz has been ordered to return to court on January 10th for the preliminary hearing.
