A dramatic high speed chase from Watsonville to Manresa state beach ended badly for the owners of six parked cars at the beach.
According to watsonville police, they recognized a known gang member who is wanted for armed robbery, Friday afternoon on the streets of watsonville. The pursuit broke out with speeds of up to 90 miles an hour. The suspect blew a tire and ended up crashing into six cars parked outside the entrance of manresa beach… most of the cars were totaled but no one was injured.
The suspect still tried to run but was finally stopped by a police dog.
