A man, with a script “W” tattooed on his cheek, allegedly tried to rob another man at gunpoint in North Monterey County recently. When the victim refused to hand over his wallet, 31 year-old Carlos Maldonado fled the scene in an older white Toyota Camry. He was found a short time later on the 400 block of Holohan Road in South Santa Cruz County, and identified by the ‘victim’.
