A Santa Clara County man was found guilty in the murder of his 46-year-old neighbor. 24-year-old Richard Delgadillo III was convicted of second degree murder for running over Donna Fife in 2009. Delgadillo has had several run-ins with the law related to reckless driving, including police chases that reached 100 miles per hour. Delgadillo ran down Fife as she was trying to call police after he crashed into a neighbor’s fence while doing donuts in the road. Investigators determined that Delgadillo accelerated directly at Mrs. Fife with no attempt to slow down. His is scheduled to be sentenced on April 19th.
