A Watsonville man, accused of killing his wife last year, is due back in a Santa Cruz county court room later this month. 47 year-old Cesar Hernandez is accused of killing 25 year-old Brenda Becerra in their Watsonville home, and then leaving her body in the family car not far from where she worked at Dominican Hospital. He then dropped their 2 young children off with Becerra’s family at 2 a.m., and fled to Mexico. He was arrested a few days later, as he tried to cross back into the U.S.
Hernandez is scheduled to return to Santa Cruz County Superior Court May 25th.
