A Watsonville employee tase’d a man on Monday. Near the 1900 block of W. Beach Road the employee confronted Jeremy Mathis climbing into the back of a pickup truck and out of fear tase’d him. When deputies arrived they booked Mathis into county jail for attempted theft, criminal threats, resisting arrest, and being under the influence of a controlled substance.
