An 18-year-old man was shot in Salinas on Saturday. The man was shot in the chest, as he waited at the door of a residence on the 6-hundred block of Roosevelt Street. The occupants of that home opened the door and found the injured man. He was air-lifted to a san jose trauma center in serious but stable condition. Salinas police are investigating the incident as gang-related.
