A convicted felon, has been found guilty of assault, theft, dissuading a witness, and being in possession of a firearm and ammunition. 25 year-old Carlos Ibarra is scheduled to return to a Monterey county court room May 8th…..when he is expected to be sentenced to up to 10 years in prison (for assaulting 3 people in Salinas, and then leading law enforcement officers on a high speed chase). Those incidents occurred in February of 2018.
