(12:50) Watsonville – A man was arrested this morning for reckless driving and being in possession of 2 loaded guns. Officers reported that 23 year-old Jose Alvarez was driving recklessly in the area of Lincoln and Riverside Drive, just before 12:30 a.m. Alvarez led officers on a car chase and eventually abandoned the vehicle near Blackburn Court, and fled on foot. During a search of the car officers found two loaded hand guns and marijuana. Alvarez was arrested and booked into Santa Cruz County Jail.
