A 23-year-old man was arrested after Watsonville Police officers found marijuana and an illegal gun in his car. Rafael Holgiun was stopped near the intersection of Hall and Johnson roads on Tuesday night. Officers saw several ounces of marijuana in jars on the passenger seat of the car, prompting them to search the vehicle. During the search, they found a .40-caliber pistol along with two high capacity magazines. Holgiun was arrested and booked into Santa Cruz County Jail.
