Salinas police on Saturday arrested 20-year-old a man on gang and firearm charges. Police say they stopped a car for running a stop sign and that when the car stopped, Guillermo Reyes, got out of the car and ran. Reyes allegedly tossed a Smith & Wesson revolver and then stopped running.
Police arrested Reyes and recovered the gun. He was booked into the Monterey County Jail.
