In the northern Salinas area, a 29 year old man was stopped by Salinas police officers and taken into custody after leading them on a 3-mile car chase. Jose Angel Villa was put in jail for gang, gun, and drug charges after he was found in possession of a 12 gauge shotgun, psilocybin mushrooms, and was driving on a suspended license in violation of his probation.
