(06:55) King City – A man has been arrested for attempted murder. On Sunday just before 5:30 p.m., King City Police Officers were dispatched to a report of shots fired in the 100 block of South Second Street. Upon Arrival officers found a 24 year-old man suffering from a gun shot wound. Yesterday the King City Police Department executed a search warrant at a residence in the 200 block of N. Third Street in King City, which lead to the arrest of Juan Carlos Almaraz. He was booked at the Monterey County Jail for attempted murder. The victim is currently listed as being in stable condition.
