A man, who threatened to destroy a Salinas police officer, has been arrested. Reportedly, 45 year-old Jason Marquez (who was arrested last September for throwing gas at his neighbor’s face) has made specific threats against his arresting officer. Because of those threats, a search warrant was served at Marquez’ parents’ Pescadero Drive home. There officers found several firearms and Marquez was booked into Monterey county jail.
