A 21 year-old man has been arrested in connection with yesterday morning’s fires in Hollister. David Anthony Pequeno is being charged with at least 4 counts of arson. 2 structures were destroyed and several others were damaged, and some vehicles were set on fire. The Cheung Sheng Restaurant (red dragon) on 6th and East; and She’s on East and 5th were in the 2 structures that were destroyed. All told, 10 businesses were impacted by yesterday morning’s fires. Pequeno’s bail has been set at more than 1 million dollars.
