A 55 year-old Santa Cruz man has been arrested in connection with a school break-in, and the theft of some items from the school. Robert Negron is believed to have broken into Holy Cross School around 5 a.m. Tuesday morning and ransacked a classroom before stealing some items. He was found and arrested yesterday while in a van near the intersection of Laurel and Front Street. Negron reportedly had 7 outstand arrests warrants at the time….and he also reportedly cut off his ankle monitor while on pre-trial release back in April.
