The macy’s store in the capitola mall re-opened this afternoon. The store had been closed since 8:30 yesterday morning, when a fire broke out on the second floor. Sprinklers helped contain the fire before cal-fire and other firefighters arrived. No injuries were reported. Business resumed at the store at 1 p.m. today.
