PROSECUTORS SAY A CAPITOLA MAN COMMITTED PREMEDITATED MURDER WHEN HE KILLED ANOTHER MAN AND DUMPED HIS BODY IN JULY 2010, WHILE DEFENSE ATTORNEYS CONTEND IT WAS SELF DEFENSE. FEDERICO CASTILLO, CHARGED FOR MURDER, GOT INTO AN ARGUMENT WITH JUAN CARLOS GARCIA OVER THE WAY A DRUG OPERATION WAS BEING HANDLED, AND WHEN GARCIA PULLED A GUN, CASTILLO USED IT ON HIM. A key component of the prosecution’s case is the testimony of two of Lozoya’s neighbors, who will testify about what they heard and saw on the evening of July 29, 2010. Testimony in the trial will continue Thursday morning.
