(17:49) PACIFIC GROVE- Heavy surf threw two people from a kayak near Lovers Point in Pacific Grove yesterday. The Coast Guard responded to a report of two people in distress shortly after 1:45 p.m. The responding vessel found that two good Samaritans and a police officer had formed a human chain and pulled a man and woman from the surf. CPR was performed on one of the victims before they were transported to the hospital. At this time we don’t have any further information on their condition.
