The Salinas pet store parrot, that flew away after being startled during Friday’s storm, has been found and returned. “Christopher Squawken” has been a fixture at Jurassic Pets (on South Main Street) for about 4 years now. The man who retrieved the friendly, Lilac-Crowned Amazon, from a nearby tree, then posted on Nextdoor. Someone there told him that the bird was missing from the nearby pet store.
