The CHP is investigating a fatal accident that took place Monday morning in Los Lomas. The accident happened when a motorist struck a pedestrian collecting recyclables on Hall Road. The driver stopped and tried to render first aid. Drugs and alcohol do not appear to be a factor in the fatality.
