STUDENTS AT A GREENFIELD ELEMENTARY SCHOOL WERE ORDERED TO REMAIN INDOORS FOR NEARLY TWO HOURS THIS MORNING WHILE POLICE SEARCHED FOR TWO SUSPECTS. CESAR CHAVEZ ELEMENTARY SCHOOL WAS PLACED ON LOCKDOWN AROUND 8:40 AFTER AN OFFICER INVOLVED HIGH-SPEED CHASE ENDED NEAR THE SCHOOL. POLICE, SO FAR, HAVE ONE PERSON IN CUSTODY. THE SUSPECTS REPORTEDLY STOLE A CAR IN SOLEDAD, AND THEN LED POLICE ON A HIGH SPEED CHASE THAT ENDED WHEN THE VEHICLE CRASHED INTO A FIRE HYDRANT. THE LOCKDOWN WAS LIFTED AROUND 10:20 A.M.
