Many folks on the central coast waking up in the dark this morning.
A spokesman from p-g and e says 44-942 customers are without power in Santa Cruz County.
Monterey county is faring much better with only 10-thousand customers affected.
And in San Benito county 1,369. Power is expected to remain off until p-g and e gets the all clear, which they hope will be around mid day today. However… if there are wires or transformers that have been damaged in this latest wind event, p-g and e is not giving an estimate on when that power might be restored.
With another anticipated red flag warning expected… P-G and E says they are monitoring the weather very closely and will not make a decision on tuesday’s potential public safety power shut off… until they’ve got a full forecast.
