1 TABLESPOON SUGAR,
1 AND 1/2 TEASPOON SALT,
MIX THE ABOVE TOGETHER, THEN CUT IN 1 AND 3/4 CUPS CRISCO.


BEAT TOGETHER
1 EGG,
1/2 CUP WATER,
1 TABLESPOON VINEGAR,
THEN MIX WITH FLOUR MIXTURE.


FILLING:
7 CUPS APPLES,
2 TABLESPOONS FLOUR,
1 CUP SUGAR,
1 TEASPOON CINNAMON,
A LITTLE VANILLA.


COOK:
425 DEGREES FOR 20 MINUTES,
375 DEGREES FOR 20 MINUTES,
350 DEGREES TO FINISH.
