Flooding, Road Closures As Heavy Rains Fall On Saturated Ground

After years of praying for rain, Santa Cruz County has had more than its fill. Looking for something to bet on now that the Super Bowl is in the past? Try betting on whether 17 will stay open!

Take A Look At Some Local Flooding

THREE CHILDREN WERE HOSPITALIZED YESTERDAY AFTERNOON (MON) AS A PRECAUTION AFTER BEING EXPOSED TO A STRONG CHEMICAL ODOR AT SANTA CRUZ’S ADVENTURE SPORTS.    THE CHILDREN COMPLAINED OF EYE IRRITATION STEMMING FROM THE CLUB’S HOT TUB AND WERE TAKEN TO DOMINICAN HOSPITAL AROUND 4 P-M.     FIREFIGHTERS REPORTED NO EVIDENCE OF A LEAK BUT SHUT DOWN THE POOL AREA UNTIL AN EVALUATION OF THE FACILITY’S SYSTEM WAS MADE.
