A WATSONVILLE MAN WAS AIRLIFTED TO AN AREA HOSPITAL THIS AFTERNOON (THURS) AFTER BEING HIT BY A BICYCLIST IN CORRALITOS.   AUTHORITIES SAY THE 65-YEAR OLD PEDESTRIAN WAS WALKING ON WHITE ROAD NEAR QUAIL LANE JUST BEFORE 4:30 WHEN THE 65-YEAR OLD CYCLIST, TRAVELING ABOUT 25 MILES PER HOUR ON THE SAME SIDE OF THE ROAD, KNOCKED THE MAN DOWN.  AUTHORITIES SAY THE PEDESTRIAN SUFFERED MAJOR INJURIES WHILE THE BICYCLIST HAD MINOR INJURIES AND WAS ALSO HOSPITALIZED.   THE MEN’S MEDICAL CONDITIONS HAVE NOT YET BEEN RELEASED.
