Flooding, Road Closures As Heavy Rains Fall On Saturated Ground

After years of praying for rain, Santa Cruz County has had more than its fill. Looking for something to bet on now that the Super Bowl is in the past? Try betting on whether 17 will stay open!

Take A Look At Some Local Flooding

MORE  THAN  30  CATS,  DOGS,  PUPPIES,  AND  A  SHEEP  WERE  RESCUED  FROM  A  PRUNEDALE  HOME,  ALTHOUGH  6  WERE  EUTHANIZED  (DUE  TO  BEING  GRAVELY  INJURED  OR  EXTREMELY  AGGRESSIVE).      THE  PETS  WERE  BEING  HELD  INHUMANELY  ON  A  PROPERTY   THAT  WAS  CONDEMNED  LAST  YEAR,  AND  HAD  SINCE  BEEN  ABANDONED (EXCEPT FOR THE ANIMALS).       IF   PEOPLE  WHO  ARE  UNABLE  TO CARE  FOR  THEIR  PETS,   ARE  ENCOURAGED TO  ASK  THE   S-P-C-A  FOR  ASSISTANCE.
