Flooding, Road Closures As Heavy Rains Fall On Saturated Ground

boulder creek residents will have the oppurtunity to weigh in on the possibilty of having a local dog park.   dog owners and animal lovers have been looking FOR PLACES in the san lorenzo valley to excersize their dogs for years.    the closest dog friendly parks are in santa cruz and scott’s valley.  the Boulder Creek Park and Recreation District may fund a park if advocates can find a suitable site.   there is a meeting slated for tuesday at the boulder creek recreation hall, the 6 p-m meeting will examine potential sites and costs of a local dog park. for details go to www.bcrpd.org
