A  MAN  WAS  BRANDISHING  A  SILVER  REVOLVER  WHEN  HE AND  AN  ACCOMPLICE  ROBBED  SOMEONE  WHO  WAS TRYING  TO  MAKE  A  DEPOSIT  INTO  A  BANK  DROP-BOX  IN SALINAS  THIS  MORNING.      THE  INCIDENT  OCCURRED  AROUND  9:40   ON  THE  1  THOUSAND  BLOCK  OF  SOUTH  MAIN  STREET  THIS MORNING,    AS  THEIR  VICTIM  WAS  TRYING  TO  DEPOSIT  RESTAURANT  RECEIPTS  FROM  WEDNESDAY  NIGHT.     THEY   WERE  SEEN  LEAVING THE BN’S PARKING LOT  IN  A  MAROON  NISSAN  SEDAN.   ANYONE WITH  ANY INFORMATION  ONTHIS  DAYTIME   ARMED  ROBBERY  IS  ENCOURAGED  TO  CONTACT  THE  SALINAS POLICE  DEPARTMENT.
