Flooding, Road Closures As Heavy Rains Fall On Saturated Ground

Take A Look At Some Local Flooding

A  WATSONVILLE  GIRL  DIED  OVER  THE  WEEKEND,   AFTER  THE  VEHICLE  SHE  WAS  RIDING  IN  CRASHED.        THE  11  YEAR-OLD  WAS  1  OF  8  PEOPLE  IN  A  PICK-UP  TRUCK  WHEN  IT  FLIPPED  OVER  SEVERAL  TIMES  ON  HIGHWAY 280, JUST  SOUTH  OF  PAGE  MILL  ROAD IN  PALO  ALTO.     3  PEOPLE  (WHO  WERE  NOT  WEARING  SEATBELTS)  WERE  EJECTED  WHEN  THE  TRUCK  OVERTURNED.     3  ADULTS    SUFFERED  MODERATE  TO  MAJOR INJURIES  IN  THE  ACCIDENT,  INCLUDING THE  37  YEAR-OLD  DRIVER.       4  OTHER  PEOPLE,  INCLUDING 3  CHILDREN  (AGES  2  TO  16  YEARS-OLD),  SUFFERED  ONLY  MINOR  INJURIES.
