A PRELIMINARY HEARING HAS BEEN SET FOR A CHILD PSYCHOLOGIST, ACCUSED OF ALLEGEDLY ABUSING FOUR VICTIMS DATING BACK AS FAR AS 2001.  66 YEAR OLD JOHN W. VISHER, OF LA SELVA BEACH, WILL BE PRESENT TO SEE IF THERE IS ENOUGH EVIDENCE TO PROCEED TO TRIAL.   VISHER HAS BEEN INVESTIGATED SEVERAL TIMES IN 2001 AND 2005, HOWEVER, HE WAS NOT ARRESTED UNTIL A NINE YEAR OLD GIRL REPORTED INAPPROPRIATE CONTACT WITH IN SEPTEMBER.  THE CIVIL SUIT FILED BY THE GIRL’S PARENTS IS PRESENTLY UNDER SUSPENSION UNTIL THE END OF THE CASE.  HE WAS REARRESTED IN MAY AFTER NEW COUNTS INVOLVING THREE MORE UNDERAGE VICTIMS WERE REPORTED.  VISHER PLED NOT GUILTY AND HAD HIS PSYCHOLOGY LICENSE SUSPENDED UNTIL THE RESULTS OF THE CASE COME IN.   HE WAS STILL IN SANTA CRUZ COUNTY JAIL FRIDAY IN LIEU OF ONE MILLION DOLLARS BAIL.
