A TEEN FROM APTOS HIGH WON AN ART COMPETITION WITH HER PHOTO TITLED “WALKING IN ISRAEL.”   THE CONGRESSIONAL ART COMPETITION WAS OPEN TO ALL HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS IN THE 20TH CONGRESSIONAL DISTRICT.   18-YEAR-OLD RACHEL MARTIN SHOT  “WALKING IN ISRAEL” WHILE PARTICIPATING IN THE NORTH AMERICAN FEDERATION OF TEMPLE YOUTH’S INTERNATIONAL EXCHANGE PROGRAM IN ISRAEL.   MARTIN WHO GRADUATED APTOS HIGH LAST WEEK WILL GO ON TO STUDY AT CAL POLY.   THE WINNING PHOTO WILL GO ON DISPLAY AT THE NATION’S CAPITAL AND LATER THIS MONTH, MARTIN WILL BE HONORED WITH A 1500 DOLLAR SCHOLARSHIP.
