WHAT  WAS  INITIALLY  REPORTED  AS  A  STABBING  ON  DUFOUR  STREET  YESTERDAY  (TUESDAY)  IN  SANTA  CRUZ,  TURNED  OUT   NOT  TO  HAVE  INVOLVED A  STABBING  AT  ALL.    A  WOMAN,  WHO  SAW  BLOOD  ON HER  NEIGHBOR’S  HAND  AND  NECK,  THOUGHT  HE  HAD  BEEN STABBED,  BUT  IT  TURNED  OUT  HE  INJURED  HIS  HAND  ON  A SHELF,  AND  THE  BLOOD  GOT  ON  HIS  NECK WHEN  HE  TOUCHED  IT  WITH  HIS  BLOODIED  HAND.
