THE  NAME  OF  THE  MOTORCYCLIST,   WHO SUFFERED  FATAL  INJURIES  YESTERDAY  AFTERNOON  IN  SALINAS,  HAS  BEEN  RELEASED.       47  YEAR-OLD  DARRELL  WHITEHOUSE WAS  LEAVING  HIS  JOB  EARLY  (TO  ATTEND  HIS  SON’S  R.O.T.C.   CEREMONY AROUND  2  P.M.)  YESTERDAY,   WHEN  HIS  MOTORCYCLE  HIT  A  TRUCK  (THAT  WAS  PULLING  INTO  A  PARKING  LOT  NEAR  SANBORN  AND  BLANCO  ROADS).       ALTHOUGH  WHITEHOUSE WAS  GIVEN  C.P.R.  AT  THE  SCENE  (AND  THEN  TRANSPORTED  TO  A  SALINAS  HOSPITAL),   HE  SUCCUMBED  TO  HIS  INJURIES  A  SHORT  TIME  LATER
