Flooding, Road Closures As Heavy Rains Fall On Saturated Ground

After years of praying for rain, Santa Cruz County has had more than its fill. Looking for something to bet on now that the Super Bowl is in the past? Try betting on whether 17 will stay open!

Take A Look At Some Local Flooding

TENSION BETWEEN ALISAL UNION SCHOOL BOARD, AND MONTEREY COUNTY SUPERVISOR FERNANDO ARMENTA, HAS CREATED ENOUGH DRAMA, THAT THE POLICE ARE TAKING NOTE AND INVESTIGATING.       BOARD MEMBER, JOSE CASTENEDA, HAS ACCUSED SUPERVISOR ARMENTA, OF MAKING VERBAL THREATS TO HIM AND INTERRUPTING A CLOSED DOOR MEETING.      AT WEDNESDAY NIGHTS BOARD MEETING, TEACHERS PARENTS AND UNION LEADERS, WERE RALLYING AGAINST A FAILED CONTRACT NEGOTIATION.
