Flooding, Road Closures As Heavy Rains Fall On Saturated Ground

After years of praying for rain, Santa Cruz County has had more than its fill. Looking for something to bet on now that the Super Bowl is in the past? Try betting on whether 17 will stay open!

Take A Look At Some Local Flooding

AN ADOLESCENT MOUNTAIN LION, THAT WANDERED DOWN WATER STREET IN SANTA CRUZ THIS MORNING, WAS TRANQUILIZED AROUND 12:30 THIS AFTERNOON SO HE COULD BE SAFELY RELOCATED. SANTA CRUZ POLICE OFFICERS, MEMBERS OF THE PUMA PROJECT AT U.C.S.C. AND WildRescue IN MOSS LANDING, AS WELL AS STATE FISH AND WILDLIFE OFFICIALS WORKED TOGETHER TO KEEP THE MOUNTAIN LION IN THE AQUEDUCT (NEAR MAY AVENUE) AFTER HE JUMPED INTO IT THIS MORNING.
