A MAN, WHO WAS THE VICTIM OF A ROBBERY AND STABBING SUNDAY NIGHT IN SALINAS, IS EXPECTED TO RECOVER. THE ATTACK HAPPENED AS THE VICTIM WAS SURPRISED FROM BEHIND BY A PERSON DEMANDING MONEY. WHEN THE VICTIM CLAIMED NOT TO HAVE ANY MONEY, THE SUPECT BEGAN STABBING HIM THE SUSPECT THEN FLED THE SCENE OF THE MCGOWAN DRIVE INCIDENT. THE 5-FOOT 4-INCH TALL HISPANIC MAN IN HIS 20’S WAS REPORTEDLY WEARING A WHITE T-SHIRT AND BLACK JEANS AT THE TIME.
