Flooding, Road Closures As Heavy Rains Fall On Saturated Ground

After years of praying for rain, Santa Cruz County has had more than its fill. Looking for something to bet on now that the Super Bowl is in the past? Try betting on whether 17 will stay open!

Take A Look At Some Local Flooding

LAW ENFORCEMENT RAIDED THE WRONG HOUSE IN SEASIDE EARLY LAST THURSDAY MORNING.  ACCORDING TO THE OCCUPANT OF THE HOME, A VAN SHOWED AND OFFICERS FILED AND CAME TO THE DOOR WITH A WARRANT WITH THE CORRECT ADDRESS.   THE HOUSE WAS SEARCHED FOR THE PREVIOUS OCCUPANT OF THE HOME.   THE CURRENT TENANT APPRECIATES THE POLICE PRESENCES IN THE COMMUNITY, BUT WISHES THEY COULD FIGURE OUT HOW TO KEEP THEIR INFORMATION CURRENT. A SPOKESPERSON FOR MONTEREY COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT STATED THAT UNFORTUNATELY THIS SORT OF INCIDENT IS NOT UNCOMMON.
