A  43  YEAR-OLD  GONZALES  WOMAN  HAS  PLEADED  GUILTY  TO  VEHICULAR  MANSLAUGHTER  WITH  GROSS  NEGLIGENCE.   VIVIAN  RAMIREZ  SAID  SHE  WAS  REACHING  FOR  A  CELL  PHONE  (WHILE  DRIVING  SOUTHBOUND  ON  HIGHWAY  101)  IN FEBRUARY  WHEN  SHE  RAN  HER  VEHICLE  ACROSS  THE  CENTER  DIVIDER  AND  THE  NORTHBOUND LANES OF  TRAFFIC,  HITTING  ANOTHER  VEHICLE  HEAD-ON.    THE  3  PEOPLE IN THAT VEHICLE SUFFERED  FATAL  INJURIES  ALTHOUGH A  NUMBER OF OTHER PEOPLE SUFFERED MODERATE TO SEVERE INJURIES IN A SERIES OF CHAIN- REACTION CRASHES THAT OCCURRED.    THE 3 PEOPLE WHO DIED WERE ON THEIR WAY HOME FROM A FUNERAL IN  KING CITY, AS WERE SOME OF THE OTHER INJURED PEOPLE.   RAMIREZ IS  DUE TO  BE  SENTENCED  JULY 3RD IN  A  MONTEREY  COUNTY  COURT  ROOM.
